Community Guidelines: Creating a Safe, Authentic, and Inclusive Space
At Tribal, we're more than just a dating platform. We're here to foster real, authentic connections while ensuring that our community remains safe, respectful, and welcoming for everyone. These guidelines are the foundation of what it means to be a member of the Tribal community. By following them, we ensure that everyone's experience is meaningful, fun, and most importantly, safe.
If someone crosses the line, don't hesitate to report them. We are committed to actively addressing all reports and have monitoring in place to safeguard our users. Tribal is a space where inclusivity and respect are non-negotiable.
Non-Negotiables:
1. Be Authentic
Tribal is all about genuine connections. Present yourself as the real you—don't pretend to be someone you're not. Authenticity is key to building meaningful relationships. Misleading others only hurts the community and yourself.
2. Respect Others
Meeting new people can be nerve-wracking, and it's important to treat everyone with kindness. Respect their boundaries, be thoughtful in your conversations, and avoid reacting impulsively when faced with conflict. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, racism, threats, bullying, bigotry, sextortion, nudity, or sexual content without consent. If someone violates these values, report them.
3. Consent Matters
In private conversations, if both parties agree to take things further, that's okay. But always remember, consent is key. Without it, any form of intimacy is unacceptable.
4. Share Cautiously and Thoughtfully
Don't rush into sharing personal information such as phone numbers, social media handles, or home addresses until you feel confident and secure in your connection. Never ask for someone's private information unless they've offered it willingly. Sharing sensitive information like bank details or passwords is never safe.
5. No Violent Content
We encourage positivity and will not tolerate any violent content, including gory images, descriptions of harm, or advocacy of violent acts or self-harm. If you encounter such content, report it immediately.
6. Adults Only
You must be at least 18 years old to use Tribal.
7. Abide by the Law
Illegal activities are not welcome here. This means no buying or selling drugs, counterfeit goods, or any involvement in illegal activity. If someone approaches you with such intentions, report them right away.
Reporting and Accountability
As a community member, it's your responsibility to uphold the integrity of Tribal. If someone violates the guidelines or makes you feel uncomfortable, please report it. Your report will remain confidential, and by taking this step, you help protect yourself and others.
While reporting is crucial, please remember that just because you disagree with someone or dislike their profile doesn't necessarily mean they've broken any rules. However, violations of our Community Guidelines will be taken seriously, and we reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including terminating accounts for breaches of our policies.
We promise to follow up on all reports promptly and to prioritize your safety.
By adhering to these guidelines, you help keep Tribal a safe and positive space for everyone. Let's work together to build a respectful, genuine community where meaningful connections can thrive.
